Once we determine that NUCCA is right for you. Dr. Imaña will accept you for care and will recommend the proper diagnostic procedures to follow.

After almost 60 years of research, NUCCA has developed a 3D Digital X-Ray protocol to precisely measure your misalignment at the base of the brain (Atlas Subluxation Complex).

According to the precise measurements, Dr. Imaña will create a specific Upper Cervical - NUCCA formula to correct your misalignment.
The adjustment happens while you’re on your side with the head supported in a special headpiece.
It is a very delicate and very precise adjustment, so you most likely wont feel it as its happening.
Research shows that it may take up to 72hrs for the adjustment to fully integrate in your body.
Finally, Dr. Imaña will take Post-Adjustment X-Rays to make sure that the adjustment was optimal. This is only done after the 1st adjustment.

After your 1st Adjustment, Dr. Imaña will have you start your care plan which are in different phases:
Expect Miracles Phase - this is also known as the relief phase. Most of the symptomatic relief happens here.
Align Phase - this is where your body begins to undo imbalances that were present before the symptoms happened.
Expansion Phase - also known as the strengthening phase. To strengthen the alignment we’ve achieved.
Full Potential Phase- also known as the maintenance phase. To periodically get checked to make sure you keep the results.

Inspired by his ancient Andean healing roots, Dr. Imaña’s mission in life is to expand people's potential to love themselves and our world.
Dr. Imaña created AMAYU Institute to share a dynamic space for unifying physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Through his work as an Upper Cervical NUCCA Healer, International Public Speaker, Author, and Bolivian Spiritual Folk Dancer, he created AMAYU Institute to be a sanctuary and space for humanity to connect to their full potential, now.
Born in La Paz, Bolivia, he later graduated from Life Chiropractic College West located in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an intern, he had a profound visual experience during a meditation in which he felt called to practice in New York City, even though he had never been.
He practices using the Upper Cervical NUCCA Procedure and Neuro-Cranial Technique. As a passionate speaker, Dr. Imaña gives at least two talks each week, ranging on various topics of human potential, healing and spirituality.
